Dad's Day of Fire and Bushcraft

Could you make a fire from only natural materials? Learn the art of wild fire making! With an opportunity to cook for yourself or the group, this is your time to step outside the hustle and bustle of everyday family life. Switch off, relax and enjoy the company of other dads with some fire and bush-craft activities. Reconnect with nature, de-stress, unwind and boost your mental, emotional and physical wellbeing.

We'll meet for a hot drink round the fire, then go for a walk to collect our fire making materials and gather back at the fire circle to prepare our individual fires. No matches, paraffin or even cotton wool!  You'll then have the option to cook sausages on your own fire or, if you like cooking, help us make the group meal. There are hammocks to relax in and the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Take time out for yourself in a hammock or by your fire, or come and join us at the circle for a chat, the choice is yours.
