Wilder Women
Allow yourself to step away from everyday pressures, sink into the woodland, slow down and let go.
Wilder Women is a space to come back to yourself. To spend time outdoors, in good company, without needing to be anything other than you are. There’s no expectation to perform, share, or have it all figured out.
You can arrive exactly as you are.
Maybe you’ve been feeling the pull to slow down, or to find something that feels more real.
Thinking of coming on your own?
Most women come on their own.
You don’t need to know anyone.
You don’t need to be particularly outdoorsy.
You don’t need any experience.
It’s a gentle space, and you’ll be met where you are. Whatever your age, there's a space for you here.

"For me Wilder Women has meant...connection, acceptance, empathic embrace. It is like an oasis in the middle of the busy times, and an opportunity to stop, breathe in nature and re-evaluate my life to make better choices for me and my family." Natalie
Why this exists
Women have been coming together in circle for thousands of years to support and empower each other. But in modern life, that space is easy to lose.
Life gets busy.
Connection becomes surface-level.
And it can feel like you have to hold everything together.
Wilder Women offers something different.
A slower pace.
A chance to step outside of the noise.
Space to simply be.
What happens on the day
Each gathering follows the rhythm of the seasons and the group.
We might:
Sit around the fire and chat,
Go for foraging walk,
Explore simple bushcraft,
Share food,
Spend quiet time in the woods
There is gentle guidance throughout, but no pressure to do everything - you’re free to join in, or take a step back, to talk, or to stay quiet.

"An incredibly well facilitated day creating the perfect mix of engaging conversations and learning with space to enjoy the wilderness and its healing. Kathleen and Victoria have created a beautiful experience. Thankyou x" Annie
"I’m looking forward to the circle in all weathers. It means connection, sense of belonging, co-operations and co-creation. It's a safe space to share and showing up in whatever emotional situation I'm at has been blissful!" Kerry
What to bring
Yourself, as you are - water and any snacks you’d like - a journal if you want to write
We usually provide something warm to eat - this will be confirmed when you book.
Please dress for the weather, as we’ll be outside.
The setting
In the spring and summer we meet in the beautiful apple orchard in Stanmer Village. In the Autumn and Winter we meet at the Forest Garden in Stanmer Organics which is more sheltered.
We put up tarps and a bell tent if needed, but we stay outdoors wherever possible.
Being out in the elements is part of reconnecting with our wilder selves.
Feel like this might be for you?
We meet once a month in the woodland, in Stanmer Park, Brighton, which is accessible by Car, Bus or Bike.
Each gathering is small and intentionally kept that way, so spaces are limited.
If you feel drawn to come, you’re very welcome.

A gentle note
It’s completely normal to feel unsure before coming - especially if you’re arriving on your own. You won’t be the only one.
The wild is waiting
There’s nothing you need to prove.
No version of yourself you need to become first.
Just come as you are.
Please get in touch if you have any more questions.
"I think the warm and kind welcome and total acceptance that I received from the group is a rare thing and it really helps you to immediately feel that you fit in. I personally love how the day must have a structure but it doesn't feel that way so you are relaxed as there feels as though no expectations. I think there should be more of these groups everywhere so everyone has the chance to have/feel this sense of belonging." Sarah
